5/6 Winter Sports Gala Day

On Thursday, 13th June our grade 5/6’s took part in the interschool sports Gala Day. Our soccer, teeball and AFL participants played at Princes Park, whilst our netballers ventured off to Fairlea Park.

Our students played 4-5 games and did our school proud both on and off the field with their behaviours and actions. 

Our soccer division 2 team took out the grand final and our division 1 team did a fantastic job in making the grand final, losing a close one to Merri Creek.

The teeball division 2 were outstanding and were crowned overall champions whilst our division 1 team finished in the top 4.

Our AFL teams were stacked with talent with both teams competing in division 1. It was by a solitary point team A1 lost the grand final, whilst our A2 team missed the grand final by percentage.

In netball we had the most teams in the competition with 4 and they all put in a mighty showing throughout the day.

Congratulations to all our participants, coaches and parents who came to support, you all made it a fantastic Gala Day!
