Upcoming Club Events

We would love to have as many parents as possible at our AGM. All positions on the Committee will become vacant and will be open for nomination. The positions are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Competitions Officer/s, Coach Liaison, and General Member. There will also be opportunities to get involved in sub-committees on social media, competitions and more. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Committee or a sub-committee, please reach out for more information. We would love to have a diverse group of volunteers with members from various squads. The Committee meets once a month. A nomination form has been attached to the email and is required to be submitted at least 7 days before the AGM (July 22).

Sunday 4th August - Ringwood Short Course Meet

Preparations are well underway for our first big meet of the season. Be sure to get your entries in soon and join us as we host clubs from across Melbourne at our Short Course meet. This meet is great for all swimmers to participate in, whether your new to the club or have been around for a while. There is a great atmosphere and lots of team camaraderie. Donations needed!

 Our four major meets are where we fundraise for the club in the way of a BBQ, raffle and lucky envelopes. It is looking like we have some amazing prizes so far for our raffle and lucky envelopes- more info to come on that soon. 

We need your help with the BBQ supplies! Does anyone know of a shop/company that might donate any of the following items:

• serviettes
• foil trays
• spray oil
• tomato sauce
• BBQ sauce
• mustard
• eggs
• bacon
• rolls
• sliced bread
• sliced onion (fresh or frozen)
• bottles of water (600ml)
• cans of pepsi max/coke zero/sprite/lemonade?
• sausages
• bags of ice

We are asking for our families assistance to gather these items to keep the cost as low as possible and ensure we raise the most amount of money for our club. 

If you know anyone that could donate, please ask them, or pass on their details to Lesley admin@ringwoodswimmingclub.org.au and we will send them a donation request letter.
