ACU
- Discover ACU School Holiday Sessions Students across Years 10 to 12 can explore our campuses, engage in hands-on workshops and meet other students who have similar course and career aspirations. They can also chat with current ACU students and staff to get a sense of university life. Parents and carers are most welcome to attend as well as we will be running a separate session for them while their teen is attending the workshop. This is a very popular event with prospective students and registrations are essential. Register here
- Discipline guided visits – Ballarat Campus For students interested in studying at our Ballarat Campus, we will be holding discipline-based guided visits over the upcoming school holidays, providing a valuable opportunity to tour the campus, meet with current students and sit down with course coordinators to have their questions answered.
Our July visits are in the areas of nursing, paramedicine, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and a September session for those interested in teaching.
- ACU Guarantee The ACU Guarantee program is back for 2024. If students are successful, this program allows Year 12 students to receive an early conditional offer to study their preferred course prior to sitting their final Year 12 exams. The ATAR requirement for their course will also be removed. Students are required to upload their Year 11 results and have the option to complete up to three personal statements addressing the categories outlined in the ACU Guarantee portal. ACU Guarantee is free and there is nothing to lose. Applications open Monday 22 July and close on Monday the 16 September. For more information on the offer rounds, visit offer FAQs. - ACU are offering online VCE revision workshops during the upcoming school holidays. These VCE subject specific revision sessions are facilitated by expert Teachers who will revise Unit 3 with study tips, resources and live Q&A opportunities. All registered attendees will have access to the recordings and resources used in these workshops, and all sessions are available to staff looking for additional professional development opportunities.

Charles Sturt University
- Charles Sturt Advantage (Early Offer Program) opens 1 May – Year 12 students can apply online via the simple process which asks they attach a PDF of Year 11 results and answer three questions relating to soft skills – things like motivation, empathy and resilience. Please note, that there will only be one round and competitive courses fill up quickly.
- From 2025 CSU will be offering two new single sector teaching degrees, the Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Bachelor of Education (Secondary). Register interest for more info here.
- Considering a career in Social Work or Human Services? CSU offer a free online taster course ‘Exploring Social Work and Human Services career paths', which is a unique opportunity for students to explore careers and exciting professional pathways in these areas. Students can listen to stories from professionals who are working in the field, hearing about the diversity of work and the skills and attitudes required for success. The course is self-paced and students can start any time.
- Students wanting to apply for CSU Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Dental Science courses, applications are now open via UAC. Both courses have additional requirements when applying (for example, our dentistry course requires completion of the UCAT ANZ assessment and veterinary biology/science applicants must demonstrate their commitment to rural veterinary science and animal industries by completing a compulsory supplementary pack). Curtin University Medicine Casper Requirement
If any students intend on applying to Curtin University for Medicine this year, apart from the UCAT, applicants will also need to register and complete the Casper Test, which is conducted by Acuity Insights.
All admission information for domestic and international students including details about the requirement to sit the Casper Test can be found via the Curtin University School of Medicine webpage.
Deakin University
Deakin Guaranteed ATAR (NEW!) is available for most Deakin undergraduate courses in 2025. This new program will be automatically applied as part of your VTAC Course Application for MSCW students who apply for eligible Deakin Courses. More information here.
Federation University
- Fed is partnering with AusNet to provide $280,000 in scholarships to support the next generation of the renewable energy workforce. Students with an interest in Engineering, Environmental and Conservation Science and STEM courses can access $7,000 of funding every year while they study at Fed. This funding is specifically targeted at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, female STEM students and students from a disadvantaged or low socioeconomic backgrounds. - Monash Design Prize is open now until 30 August
- From 2025 Monash will offer the Bachelor of Digital Business
- From 2025 Monash with offer the Bachelor of Learning Design and Technology is a 3-year multidiscipline course designed to provide a professional qualification that leads to a career in learning design, human development, educational technologies, learning analytics and architectures, and training/ professional development.

RMIT's Early Offer Program is now live! Your Year 12 students can use their life experiences and skills for consideration, allowing them to be accepted on a lower ATAR and potentially offered a conditional offer in September for study in 2025.

Swinburne’s Early Entry Program is back for the 2025 intake, with applications open now.
University of New England
Early Entry applications are open now and close 22 July. The UNE Early Entry program has helped thousands of students secure an early guarantee of a university place based on their School’s recommendation rather than an ATAR. UNE courses can be studied online or on campus, part time or full time.

University of Adelaide
The University of Adelaide is excited to announce the creation of an exciting new scholarship offering for regional and remote students.
The MathTrackX Access Scholarship allows these students to undertake our MathTrackX bridging course free of charge. This initiative aims to help students bridge any prerequisite gaps and build their confidence in pursuing further studies at the University of Adelaide.
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, students must:
- Be living in a remote or regional community as defined by the Australian Statistical Geographic Standard at the time of application.
- Intend to study a program at the University of Adelaide that requires SACE Stage 2 Mathematical Methods within 2 calendar years of being awarded the scholarship.
- Submit a written statement of up to 500 words, outlining how this scholarship will assist in their preparation to study at a tertiary level.

UTAS School Recommendation Program Applications open 27 June 2024 and applications can be submitted right up to 4 October 2024. Please Note that students who apply by 29 July will be eligible for a main round offer in September. Applicants will be notified of their success after UTAS has received the recommendation from their school. Students are encouraged to browse UTAS School’s Recommendation Program to find out more.
