Student reports will be shared with parents via Compass on Friday 28th June. We encourage parents to read and reflect upon your child’s report and celebrate their successes.

We welcome Wayne Gibcus to the NMPS team. Wayne will be replacing Julia teaching P-2 Science at our Molesworth Street Campus. Wayne comes to us with a wealth of science experience, and we are very much looking forward to learning with him.

ES Staff

This term we said goodbye to Ann Morrison as she is moving away from the education system. Ann has worked at NMPS for a number of years with many students across both campuses. We wish Ann all the best in her new career.

Psych in Schools

We are excited to announce that NMPS has partnered with Psych in Schools for Semester 2. The Psych in Schools Program was developed as a result of the findings of the Royal Commission into Mental Health 2021 which outlined the importance of high-quality mental health care within the education system. From the beginning of Semester 2, a provisionally registered psychologist in their 6th year of training will be on-site at NMPS for two days a week. They will support students in the area of anxiety, mood issues, behavioural problems, trauma, parental separation, friendship problems, social skills, grief, bullying and conflict resolution. Students will be referred to the provisional psychologist from our Wellbeing team, in consultation with teachers and families.

Whole School Assembly

There will be a whole school assembly on Friday 28th June at 9:15am at our Molesworth Street Campus to celebrate the end of Term 2. This assembly is an opportunity for us to come together, celebrate our achievements, and reinforce the unity that makes our school community so special.

Parents and carers from both campuses are invited to attend this assembly, as our 3-6 students will be walking across with their teachers on Friday morning.

Happy and Safe Holidays

I wish everyone a safe, relaxing and enjoyable break and look forward to welcoming all students back to school on Tuesday 15th July.
