WHAT NEXT?

  • Permission
    • You would by now have received a permission form via nForma to be completed by today – Thursday 13th June. Please contact Mr Ru if there are any issues/delays.
  • Rehearsals
    • Every Wednesday, 2.30-3.00pm in MPR – students need to commit to weekly rehearsals from Wednesday 22nd May.
    • In-person Polishing Rehearsal - Saturday 27th July - Church of All Nations, 180 Palmerston St Carlton, 10-30am-12.30pm. All participating students are expected to attend this rehearsal. Parents will be responsible for transport. Students will be supervised by Bernadette and a Trinity staff member.
    • Extra rehearsals will be arranged for the final week of term and the opening weeks of Term 3. Students will be advised.
  • Home learning
    • Students received a booklet with song lyrics at this week’s rehearsal. These can be used for home practice. Youtube links to the songs will soon be sent out via Seesaw. Please contact Mr Ru if you have any trouble accessing this material.
    • Thank you for encouraging your kids to learn the songs. Please note they will be learning either Part 1 (students in Years 1,2, 3 and 4) or Part 2 (Years 5, 6). The relevant clip is made clear on the youtube link. It is most important that they only practice their given part – to avoid confusion. Once they are confident with their voice part, it will be useful to listen to the “All Parts” clips to hear how it all fits together.

For more information, feel free to contact Mr Ru at school, or Bernadette on 0414 858 738 or dettelannen@gmail.com, and watch this space!
