Music/Band Assembly

On Monday 22nd of July, we hosted our Music/Band Assembly and it was a celebration of not just musical talent, but of the dedication and hard work that our Music and Band students and teachers had poured into their craft. By showcasing their achievements, we highlighted the importance of arts education and its role in enriching our school community. 

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Mazenod Music teachers, whose passion, patience, and expertise have guided and inspired our students. Their commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for music is truly remarkable.

To our talented band students, your hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication shine through in every performance. The countless hours of practice and perseverance you put in are what make our music program vibrant and dynamic.

The presentation of SRC badges was particularly noteworthy. It was a tangible acknowledgment of the leadership and responsibility shouldered by these students, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing young leaders who will shape the future of our community. This moment of recognition honoured their efforts and encouraged others to engage actively in leadership roles, promoting a culture of responsibility and initiative.

Furthermore, the special moment of reflection with a prayer crafted by our students in honour of Father Kaz added a deeply personal and poignant element to the assembly. This heartfelt tribute served as a powerful reminder of the enduring impact of individuals who have touched our lives. Father Kaz's memory and influence continue to resonate within our community, and this prayer offered a meaningful way for students to express their gratitude and respect.
