Year 3&4 

Students investigated the effects of water erosion by exploring what happens to models of landscapes when water is poured over them. They have also started to plan a scientific investigation into which materials, other than plants, may help prevent the erosion of soil. 

Year 5&6 

The Year 5&6 students were given the challenge of designing a structure that can protect humans during either an earthquake, volcano or tsunami. The structure also had to meet the human needs of food, water, shelter and air. Students have been creating labelled drawings of their designs.
