Greetings Karoo-ians,

Exciting news from the Media and Digital Technology classroom! Our Year 5 and 6 students are busy with the beginnings of their filmmaking project for the year. In small groups, they are planning and researching and creating a news segment about an idea of their own choosing, diving into topics they are passionate about. They are recording VOX POP interviews, gathering facts and statistics, and honing their narration skills through the use of voice-overs, and presentation skills.

Next term, we'll move into the production and post-production stages. Students will film and edit their segments, bringing their stories to life. We're thrilled to see their hard work and creativity come together, and we can't wait to share their finished news segments with the Karoo Primary School community.
