Supporting the learning environment

All parents/carers/visitors who visit during school hours are required to report to the school office upon entering school grounds. This includes when students arrive late, are picked-up early, dropping off items of clothing/lunches/bags, etc. The staff in the school office will contact the teacher/student on your behalf, if required.

Daily school schedule
9.00am – 10.40am	Session One and Two
10.40am – 11.25am	Intervallo – Snack Break
11.25am – 1.05pm	Session Three and Four
1.05pm – 1.50pm	Pranzo - Lunch Break
1.50pm – 3.30pm	Session Five and Six

Late pick ups - Children who are not collected by 3:40pm are sent to the office and parents contacted.

Children who are not collected by 3:45pm or their parents cannot be contacted, are sent to Team Kids for Outside School Hours Care, and can be collected from there.

Volunteering at SKIPPS

All volunteers are required to have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Please complete the Volunteer Induction before your first volunteer session

Extra Curricular Activities

At SKiPPS we are excited to provide lots of opportunities for students beyond the classroom to explore and develop their skills and passions. Some of these are offered by our school staff, some by our parent community and others by external providers. Supporting Each Other: The SKiPPS Community Pantry 🥫💛

The SKiPPS Community Pantry is stocked with non-perishable food and household items, available for any families in our school community to take from, free of charge, at any time. Whether you're in need of a few essentials or just want to top up the lunchbox, the pantry is there to support you—no questions asked.

The pantry is located next to our lost property racks, just off the quadrangle.

We also warmly welcome donations to help keep the pantry stocked.

Around the World in One Night is an epic restaurant crawl where you’re given the opportunity to taste 20 of these restaurants and their cuisines, but, most importantly, the journey you take and what you try is up to YOU!

This event is perfect for families as tasters are only $5 (plus booking fee) and everyone in the family gets to choose the tasters they want = everyone happy! Plus, there will also be musical entertainment on the street, playing the tune to your food adventure!

If you haven’t made it already, isn’t it time you visited Fitzroy Street’s Foodie Fare? Lucky for you, it’s coming up again on Sunday, September 21!

Foodie Fare was created to bring something truly special back to Fitzroy Street — fresh produce and gourmet delights that have been missing for far too long. Plus, to attract visitors to the street who will also spend in and support our small businesses, while creating that buzzing, vibrant community feel each month.

This time, we have about 26 stalls, including a double veg stall with produce picked the night before, a butcher’s stall with grass-fed beef, lamb, pork, and small goods, farm-fresh eggs, fresh-baked artisan bread, and of course, plenty of sweet treats for the kids and even goodies for your pups.

You’ll find the market, supported by Rotary Club of Southbank Elsternwick, on the footpath along Fitzroy Street, from Taqueria (155 Fitzroy St) up towards the Junction, between 9am – 1pm.
