Prayer for the Season of Creation
God of wonder,
In this Season of Creation we open our hearts in gratitude.
Teach us to live gently, care deeply,
and act justly for the sake of our world.
Help us to cherish every creature,
to protect the rivers, forests, and skies,
and to make choices that nurture life on earth.
May our actions bring hope, renewal, and harmony
for all generations to come.
Amen.
The Season of Creation – September
The Season of Creation is celebrated each year from 1 September to 4 October.
It is a time to reflect on the beauty and wonder of the natural world, to give thanks for the gift of creation, and to renew our commitment to care for our common home.
Pope Francis reminds us in Laudato Si’ that “everything is connected” and calls us to protect the earth, care for the poor, and live sustainably. During this season, we are invited to pray, act, and advocate for creation, recognising that our choices today shape the world for future generations.
Premier's Reading Challenge 2025
Today's the day! Yes, September the 5th has arrived and this signals the end of the Challenge for 2025.
Today we add Kaitlyn A, Chloe, Natalie, Olivia, Stella, Alena, Ava, Romeo and Audrey to the long list of avid Sacred Heart readers who have completed the Challenge for this year.
Congratulations to every student who set and achieved this fantastic reading goal. And well done to all those students who wrote thoughtful reviews of their books - showcasing your writing as well as your reading skill! Stay tuned for the arrival of your certificates in Term 4.

Welcome, Foundation 2026!
It was such a joy to welcome our 2026 Foundation students and their families for their first orientation session on Thursday. The children were wonderful, full of excitement as they listened to a story with Marty, sang with Kate, and made their own special bears to take home.
A big thank you to our families for supporting this special first step, and to our Year 5 buddies who showed such kindness and leadership in helping the children feel welcome and settled.
We look forward to many more happy moments as our newest learners begin their Sacred Heart journey.
Father’s Day Fun and Raffle Winners!
A huge thank you to Monica, Tendayi and all the wonderful parents who helped at today’s Father’s Day Stall. Your generosity and care made the day extra special and together we raised over $800 for our school. AMAZING!
The children were buzzing with excitement as they carefully chose gifts for their dads and special people. It was beautiful to see their joy and pride.
