PRINCIPAL'S AFTERNOON TEA

FROM THE GR 6 JUNIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Hi.  We are the junior team and every week on Wednesday, we go to the1/2  room and this is what we do:  

First we start by listening to them read, 

then we check their handwriting, 

and after that we help them with their sounds and spelling.  

Sometimes on Thursdays, which is their specialist day, we help them with sport, art or music.

What we like about helping the juniors is helping them get better at reading, handwriting and spelling.  We also like seeing what they do compared to what we do. They are also nice and funny. We like hearing what they think. They also enjoy us helping them.

What a fantastic day for and trip to the beach.  It was a fun informative day.

COLOUR RUN 

HAY BALE AUCTION:  Congratulations to the Clarke family and Simpson family who both bidded the same amount and have decided to split the bales between them.  Once again, thank you to the Vagg family for their generous donation of the hay bales.

CHRISTMAS BOXES

We are proud to have been part of the Samaritans Purse Christmas Box Appeal again this year.  Thank you everyone who donated items to fill our christmas boxes.  We were able to make 22 boxes and were collected from the school today by Mrs Doreen Western.

         SOCIAL JUSTICE TEAM - CRAZY HAIR DAY -                           GOLD COIN DONATION                                                FRIDAY 10th OCTOBER 

                                 All monies donated twill go towards mental health awareness.
