Cricket Victoria Cricket Clinic
On Friday 5th September we did a cricket clinic. In it we did some catching warm-up activities with a partner and alone. It was run by Paul (from Golden Point Cricket club) and Mooks from Cricket of Victoria. Then we were split into two groups and played a game of Rapid Fire. It was fun. - By Tyler Y-P
For any students interested in exploring cricket please refer to the flyers below which contain information regarding a couple of clubs (Golden Point and Delacombe) which have opportunities to come and try.
Melbourne Renegades Visit
On Thursday 28th of August the Melbourne Renegades came to our school. They were teaching us some of the important things about cricket, such as throwing and catching the ball and that it requires power, speed and precision. The players that came to our school were Fergus O’Neill and Sara Kennedy. They told us about themselves as well as other sports they used to play. Sara plays as a left arm medium bowler and Fergus plays as a right arm medium bowler.
Thank you Renegades for coming to our school. - By Macklin W
