St Louis de Montfort is Celebrating 60 years 

Good afternoon families

 

 Thank you to the teachers and parents who participated in last week’s parent teacher conferences last week. These meetings give both parents and teachers opportunities to discuss the success and challenges for the students.

 

MACSIS survey- opened until Friday 19 September

This is the last week for families to complete this annual survey. This survey is an opportunity for parents to evaluate the school and the leadership. It gives parents the opportunity to celebrate the school’s successes and challenges. The results from the parents, staff and students will be used to drive the school’s next 4 years School Improvement Plan. Please take the time to complete the survey if you have not done so already. 

 

Parent Teacher conferences – 3.30pm – 5.30pm 

Tuesday 16 September is the second session of this term’s parent teacher conferences The students do not attend these conferences. 

 

Colour Run

We have our Colour run happening early next term.  Notices and sponsorship details have gone home don't forget to register, just $10 of fundraising earn a prize.  This is a major fundraiser for the school and will go toward playground and garden upgrades and renovations. See PFA page for more details.

 

Footy Day – Friday 19 September 

On Friday we are having our annual Footy Day. Students are invited to wear their footy jumpers (sports team jumpers). We are asking a parents to donate a new ball and /or old footy boots. The balls and boots will go to Have – a- Ball Foundation. It is a special lunch day so please make sure you have order sausages if your child would like to have a special lunch. The money is going to a school in Papua New Guinea where Mr O’ Brien and Mr Andrew visited during the last holidays. The school has no sports equipment are very excited and appreciative of our support.

 

End of Term 3 

Friday 19 September is the last day of term 3 and school finishes at 1 pm.

Term 4 begins on Monday 6 October
