From the Principal

Our Vision

Each child has a gift or talent. It is our job to find it and to show it to them.

Our Mission

Identify the talent, develop the confidence and create the leader.

What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?

Attitudes to School Survey

Each year our year 4-6 students complete the Attitudes to School Survey, similar to the Parent Opinion Survey which many families have completed. This provides a snapshot of what our areas of strength are and what areas we need to continue to develop. Overall our results each year are exceptional and above state and similar school averages. This is due to the care and work of our staff to ensure that every child at Le Page feels connected to the school and has advocates for them. Our 2025 results again show that we value the wellbeing of every child. An overview image has been shared with the community over the last couple of weeks (see below).

Some areas which the school will be planning for improvement in 2026 include emotional awareness and regulation, help seeking and peer relationships.

NAPLAN data

Recently we have shared some of our 2025 NAPLAN results from our Year 5 cohort. This highlights their hard work and dedication to academic success. At Le Page, we understand that NAPLAN is just a snapshot of how students are going with their learning and that there are many other facets that make up for the learning and wellbeing of our students. We always encourage all students to have a go at NAPLAN and use the results to see the progress of their learning. The most important thing to our school and staff is learning and wellbeing growth. From where a child starts to where they get to over a semester, year or their primary schooling. We celebrate and are proud of all our students' growth!

John Monash Science School

Again I had the opportunity to chaperone three Year 6 students to the Mini-Scientist workshop at John Monash Science School recently. This time Daniel C, Sai A and Kaira A participated in science experiments, mentored by the Year 10 students of JMSS. This is such a wonderful experience for our students and we will continue to participate in future cycles of the program.

State Finals Tee Ball

On Wednesday 10th of September, I was able to watch our Girls Tee Ball team compete in the State Finals at Wheelers Hill. The girls played hard and competitively. Unfortunately they didn’t make the final but I admire their sportsmanship and dedication. Well done to the following students for representing Le Page at our very first State Final!
