As a school, we will be acknowledging ‘R U OK? Any Day’ on Thursday, 11th of September. To show support, we’re inviting all students to wear a touch of yellow
on the day.
Our goal as a school community is to foster a culture of care and connection, one where students feel empowered to look out for one another and offer support when a classmate might need it.
Life has its ups and downs, and everyone faces challenges from time to time. Whether it’s family changes, financial pressures, health concerns or other life transitions, these moments can affect us all.
Often, the people around us won’t always say when something’s wrong. That’s why it’s so important to make asking “Are you OK?” a regular part of our relationships with friends, family, teammates and colleagues.
By checking in early, we can give someone the chance to talk, seek support and, if needed, access professional help. A simple conversation can make a big difference, helping to stop small problems from growing into bigger ones.
Let’s work together to nurture kindness, awareness and support every day of the year.
Take care, have a wonderful weekend & Happy Father's Day!
Important Community Event - World Mental Health Day

The Whittlesea Lions Club would like to invite you to a community recognition of ‘World Mental Health Day’. We would appreciate your help in raising awareness and unveiling a new addition to the Whittlesea Lions Park.
The World Mental Health Day theme 2025 is “Community: Supporting Mental Wellbeing Together”. This theme emphasises the importance of strong, supportive communities in promoting mental health and fostering a sense of belonging. It highlights how communities play a vital role in helping people feel connected, valued, and less alone, especially during difficult times.
We value the connectivity and support of the many community groups that we have worked with and supported during the more than half a century we have been serving the Whittlesea community – it would be great if we could all come together to show the strength of us all in recognising and raising awareness of mental health issues and the support environments that we create for our community.
