From the Principal 

Dear Parents and Carers

Planning for 2024 is well advanced!!  The children will meet their new teachers on November 28th.  This can be an exciting but also nervous time.  Many things are taken into consideration by the staff when placing the students including parent considerations. Just a reminder that these are only considerations.

Below you will find the classroom staffing for 2024.   The remaining of the staffing will be provided in the coming weeks.

The following staff members will not be at St Bede's next year.

James Carbines- James has accepted a position at Camberwell Boys' Grammar

Bernadette Read - Bernadette has accepted a Deputy Principal position at Genazzano.

Jessica Marchio- Jessica will be spending more time with family

Laura Jeffreys- Laura will be taking maternity leave. Laura will be with us for the first 6 weeks of Term 1 assisting across the Junior school.

( I will write more about each of the above teachers and their contributions to St Bede's in coming newsletters.)

A few reminders

Market on the Green

The Market will be held on the 1st of December. There are even more stalls than last year!!!  Please invite family and friends to come along and have a look.  You never know what you might find. The market will operate between 5pm and 9pm

Carols

Our Christmas Carols will be held Monday 11th December. This is a great night. Hopefully no rain like last year! This event will commence at 6.00pm. There will be food trucks in attendance for families to buy dinner.

End of year Mass

The end of year mass at St Bede's will be on Thursday 14th December at 9.15am. 

Previously this mass has been on the last day. In fairness to all three schools in our parish, this year the other two school's end of year masses will be celebrated on the last day, while ours is on the second last day.

End of Year for students

The children will finish on Friday 15th December at 1.00pm.
