10ENG Short Story Competition


At the end of Term 3, Year 10 English students used the following prompts to inspire a piece of writing.

Teachers enjoyed reading a wide range of stories exploring topics such as the end of humanity, betrayal, romance and survival. 

 

Local author and parent, Kate Ryan, kindly agreed to judge the finalists’ works. She praised the thoughtful and creative writing of our students, commenting on the emergence of common motifs of entrapment and isolation.
