Student Well-Being Support
University High School’s wellbeing team provides short-term mental health support as well as practical strategies to students to help maintain a positive mindset.
We understand school can be difficult for our students - so it is important that we take care of ourselves not only physically, but emotionally and mentally.
During the holidays, school wellbeing staff will not be available. However there are a range of resources and organisations to support mental health and wellbeing that can be accessed online, via phone and in-person. A detailed list of services is attached, and short summary is below:
- Your regular GP who can provide referrals to services and a mental health plan
- Headspace
- Kids Helpline ph. 1800 55 1800
- Beyond Blue
- 1800 RESPECT (ph. 1800 737 732) - for family and sexual violence support
