Year 11 French Betty Keane Award

Named after a memorable French teacher who worked at Uni High her whole teaching career, the Betty Keane award is awarded to the Year 11 student who has demonstrated personal growth, outstanding language skills and determination. The winner this year is Vanessa Shani. She has exceeded our expectations by placing second place in the whole state of Victoria in both the written and oral Berthe Mouchette competitions and by exhibiting language skills beyond the year 11 level.

A student from each year 11 class was also awarded a prize for showing the most motivation, determination and engagement throughout the year. From 11FREA the winner is Abbey Kendall and the winner from 11FREB is Jean Land. Both classes joined together for an afternoon tea to celebrate our winners and a successful year of Year 11 French.
