Dear Sacred Heart School Families,

We hope this message finds you well and ready for another exciting school year! As we embark on this new academic journey, we extend a warm welcome to all our returning families and extend an equally warm greeting to those joining the Sacred Heart community for the first time. We are thrilled to have you as part of our school family!

This year holds special significance for us as we introduce and welcome Fr. Martin, our new parish priest, to the Sacred Heart community. Fr. Martin comes to us with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering a strong spiritual foundation for our students. We are confident that his leadership will inspire and guide us as we navigate the upcoming school year together.

In time there will be a formally welcome to Fr. Martin. Families will have opportunites throughout the year to connect with him, ask questions, and share in the excitement of this new chapter for Sacred Heart. We encourage all families to attend and join us in extending a warm Sacred Heart welcome to Fr. Martin.

As we embark on this new school year, let us embrace the spirit of unity, learning, teamwork and growth. Together, as a strong and supportive community, we can make this year a memorable and enriching experience for all.

If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact me.

Wishing you all a fantastic school year ahead!

Beginning of the Year Liturgy: This morning all students, families, and staff enjoyed a special Beginning of the Year Liturgy in the school hall. This was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, reflect on the year ahead, and seek blessings for a successful academic journey. Parent presence is highly valued. Student leaders received their leadership badges, as mentioned earlier.

Pancake Tuesday Celebration: Get ready for a delicious start to the month! We will be celebrating Pancake Tuesday in the coming weeks. Join us for a morning of tasty treats and joyful camaraderie. It's a great way to bring some joy and fun to the school community.

Ash Wednesday Mass: Following Pancake Tuesday, we will observe Ash Wednesday the next day with a special Mass with Fr Martin. This solemn occasion marks the beginning of Lent, and we encourage all families to attend as we come together in prayer and reflection.

We believe these events will contribute to a sense of unity, spirituality, and joy within our school community. Your active participation is vital to the success of these celebrations, and we look forward to seeing you there.
