This week we will be sending out a link to our 2023 concert. This is so you can watch it together with family and relive our toolkit
journey. We hope you enjoy watching it together, however, we ask that you respect the privacy and dignity of all of our students and that you do not share this link with anyone else. Screenshots or clips of the movie must not be uploaded to any social media platforms.
It is that time of year when teachers are using their observations, assessments and data to write student reports. Over the year, teachers have continued to collect evidence of students' Literacy and Numeracy skills. Over the next few weeks, they will also assess students in these areas to track how they have grown and set goals for students to focus on next year.
To ensure the consistency of data, teachers use continuums of skills, assessment tools and standardised tests. The achievement dots in our written reports will reflect the evidence collected and inform families about each child’s progress.
Our Semester Two reports will be sent home in week 11 via our parent portal. Soon we will share an Operoo to remind you how to access your child's reports from this semester and previous semesters. This will allow parents to download and save all student reports at their convenience.
There are no formal parent-teacher interviews this semester however, if you would like to discuss your child's learning and goals for 2024. please contact their classroom teacher to arrange a time to meet.
Don't forget to support your child to engage in ongoing practise of the skills they are learning at school. Go to our home learning portal for ideas or if you have any questions about your child’s home learning, please contact your child’s teacher.
