Koonung Secondary College Presentation Night
The 2023 Koonung Secondary College Presentation Night on 30 November was a fantastic way for the school year to come to a close. Koonung has a pool of amazing students with incredible talent, whether that be academic, sporting, arts, music or other. Congratulations to all students and to those that were recognized with an award.
On the evening, we welcomed alumni Michael Thomson (Class of 2021) as our guest speaker. Michael delivered a fantastic keynote speech about his pathway into medicine since completing Year 12 and his motivation and passion to work in the health field. Michael will be embarking on his 3rd year of Medicine and Melbourne University in 2024 and we wish him all the very best.
Invitation to the Class of 2023
We are looking for alumni from the Class of 2023 who would like to return to Koonung as an alumni guest speaker at the Year 12 assembly early in the new year.
We are putting together a small panel of 4 or 5 alumni for this occasion that can talk about how they got through Year 12, and study tips and techniques that will benefit the 2024 Year 12 students. It will be run as a Q&A, and you will be sent questions prior.
