Multiage –Celebrating Learning
As we race towards the end of another year, we are busily getting ready for our Gr 6 Graduation preparations, completing our topics, and beginning some fun and engaging challenges.
Our “forces" topic is winding up and we are now working on our final force of buoyancy, as well as thinking about how to create our own “Rube Goldberg” machine with as many forces involved as we can manage.
Our maths hands on activities included “cereal” multiplication and division, statistics and probability and graphing.
The students have continued to enjoy the Tuesday cooking sessions in our Food Tech Kitchen at Croxton and it’s been amazing to watch how independent they have become in following recipes, gathering the necessary ingredients, bowls and utensils, and even cleaning up their own workstations.
There is also some excitement building for the Croxton “Gallery of Life” Performing Arts/Art Show this week where the Multis are the Grand Finale Act on the Program. Should be a great evening.
