Kii families and everyone reading this, 

Recently we have taken a deep dive into miniature beeswax modelling. We have been making small dioramas of scenes from the stories heard in class. Photographed are some of the works inspired by the story of The Three Little Pigs. We also used this story to practise saying the ‘th’ sound and to write ‘th’ words. It has been a lot of fun to be creative with beeswax and the kids love it! 

We have also loved exploring different ways to count big numbers of gems and have enjoyed playing a number of maths games. 

We continue to prioritise self-directed creative inside and outside play and the children are now so familiar with the space and each other that they easily go deep into their imaginative worlds and play.
