2023 ARTS FESTIVAL

Thank you, on behalf of all the TIME teachers to all the incredible musicians who performed on Saturday at the Arts Festival!

And a big thanks to all their amazing parents who supported them on the lead up and on the day! What enormous success it was, an unforgettable event, and every child who performed should be immensely proud of themselves!

From Erica and Antionette:

A massive thank you to everyone who came and celebrated the arts at TPS on Saturday!

A very special thank you to Di Thornley, who has been instrumental in getting the Arts Festival up and running! Di once again has passionately led all the design and artwork, coordinated the initial volunteer and job list, known what needs to be done and spent much time in our festival meetings coming up with ideas and to do lists. Thank you for the last five years for your passion and vision!!!

A MASSIVE THANK YOU ALSO TO:

David Letch, who single handedly resourced and ran the sound for the outside stage from 8am to 5pm. He allowed our students to literally be heard and gave them a special balance.

Adrian Lobbo for getting so many parents on board and coordinating the Activities Stalls, the wash up station, the set up and pack down and SO many other bits and bobs. Adrian, you are unstoppable!

Colin Liddle for the incredible work with all the stall marques and trestle tables set up and then packed down, communicating with stall holders and knowing what was where. What a mammoth job.

Kristie, Jasmine and Shirley who worked with the Festival Committee to problem solve hiccups and set up systems to make things run smoothly before, and on the day, including all money and first aid.

A big thank you to Kelly and Jemma for sourcing and putting the raffle hamper together.

To our food stall holder reps for doing all the logistics of food sourcing, roster coordinating and bringing it all together!

All our community members who helped out in a stall and around the festival - so much joy seeing everyone working together.

Kirsty Letts for coming to help out with the 5/6 Music Classes in the weeks leading up to the festival and then played bass with them on the day.

All the teachers who helped set up the displays and get the school ready for our big day and to those who helped wrangle their class, ready to perform on the day. It was such a beautiful way for our school community to come together to celebrate the arts.

The Arts Festival committee who have worked throughout the year to get this all going!!

It was also so lovely to see so many past students come back and say hello to their old teachers and friends.

Finally, an extra special thanks to our lovely and dedicated TPS students that came up with concepts for their stalls and ran with them on the day. So many entrepreneurial ideas that they followed through with.  Well done!
