Kitchen Garden Update

Prep D was busy in the Kitchen Garden with the assistance of 4S and some members of 3S. These students planted a beautiful array of flowers and citrus trees along the garden's perimeter. Their goal? To create a haven for bees and enhance pollination! The community spirit in our garden has been thriving! Students and parents have been lending a hand, ensuring our plants receive the care they need, especially as we head into warmer weather. Your commitment to watering and nurturing our plants has not gone unnoticed, and we are immensely grateful for your dedication. To keep the momentum going and to make sure our garden continues to thrive, we are reachingout for some extra helping hands during the upcoming school holidays. If you have sometime to spare, we invite you to join us as a volunteer to water the garden. It's a rewarding andrelaxing way to connect with nature and contribute to the beauty of our school environment. For those interested, Brooke Danaher will be hosting a brief session on December 13th afterschool to provide more details about what volunteering entails. Your questions are more thanwelcome. You can put your name down to volunteer on particular days, using the link below.

National Recycling Week Activities

The Green Team and Art Club joined forces for a fantastic activity during National Recycling Week! We took old pots from our garden, ones that would usually head to the recycling bin, and turned them into mini masterpieces! Our students brought these pots to life with a burst of colours and beautiful drawings, showcasing the incredible potential of upcycling. Thank you to Erin O’Donnell for assisting in facilitating this event.
