School Lunch Order Accounts - Milk Bar

A message to all families who currently have an account at the Milk Bar for Friday lunch orders. There are 22 accounts with outstanding amounts.  A couple of these are over $60 and others are over $30.  Please check your account and finalise before this coming Friday. If your account is not finalised before tomorrow, unfortunately David will be unable to fulfill the lunch orders placed this week for those accounts.

Yard Duty Supervision Hours

Before and After School Supervision Parent Notification 

Student safety at Carlton North Primary School is our highest priority and the safe and appropriate supervision of students is an important element of our duty of care to students. Part of this duty is ensuring parents and students are aware of our student supervision arrangements before and after school. 

Before school: School grounds are supervised from 8:45am on the O’Grady Street side of the school. 

After school: School grounds are supervised until 3:45pm.

Students on school grounds outside these times will not be supervised (unless they are attending a before or after school care program or supervised extracurricular activity). 

Parents/carers are requested to ensure that students do not attend school outside of these supervised times unless they are attending before or after school care, or a pre-arranged supervised activity (i.e. sports practice).

For a copy of our school’s Yard Duty and Supervision Policy, parents/carers can access a copy of the full policy on the school website or by contacting the school office. This policy includes Carlton North Primary School’s student supervision arrangements across the school day, including before and after school.

Parent Supervision Requirements 

Supervision of Outside of School Hours Activities:

Parents/carers are responsible for the supervision of their child/ren during extra-curricular activities, such as netball, music performances, art shows that occur outside of school hours. Teaching staff are not on duty during these times.

How it works-

• Orders can be placed by families at any time before midnight on the above day. The free delivery option will be available  to select at check-out.
• Each order will be pre-packed and labelled - this will include name and order reference to assist with distribution. Families will receive a notification when the order is completed and a reminder of the date for collection from school.
• Includes FREE exchanges where the replacement will be sent in the next free delivery. Alternatively, the new items can be sent immediately to a nominated address using paid delivery.

Dungeons and Dragons  Lunchtime Club

We have  a new lunchtime club coming up! Timea, Jacqui and Poppy W's mum has kindly offered to start Dungeons and Dragons Club. It will start on Thursday 6 June and will run every Thursday at lunctime in Brendan's (3/4B) room.
