Fete de la Primavera

The famous NPS Fete de la Primavera is back for 2024, so save the date - Saturday 9th November! 

This fun filled day does not happen without the help of many hands, so once again we are calling out to people in our NPS community to help make this awesome event happen. Below are some of the kinds of roles & help we are looking for…

FETE COMMITTEE MEMBER

Are you a person that loves organising, coming up with fun creative ideas and enjoy working in a team of awesome folk! Maybe the fete committee is for you? 

The fete committee is a team of NPS parents who band together to organise everything fete and bring together a community. Below are some of the things we need help with, but not exclusive to. 

• Fundraising and seeking of donations & sponsorship from local businesses 
• Researching & booking of new stalls
• Band / Music Performance coordinator – this person will be teamed up with an existing member of the committee so it’s a dual role. 
• Raffle coordinator – organisation of raffle & prizes
• General pre-production help
• Event day help 

STALL HOLDERS / COORDINATOR

We are also calling out for people from our community to run & coordinate stalls or activities. Some areas that we would welcome more ideas & volunteers are:

• Food 
• Art & craft
• 2nd Hand goods
• Kids activities
• Bar  – We are potentially looking at having a small bar this year but need someone to run it, therefore looking for people with expertise in this field. 

The benefit of having NPS community run stalls means all our profits stay within the school as opposed to external stall holders that generally take all the profits.
