Attendance

Term Three attendance data

As we head into the colder season, please continue to remind your child of the importance of using tissues, covering our mouths when we cough or yawn, and washing and sanitising our hands to prevent the spread of germs. In this way we can help everyone achieve our goal of over 95% attendance at school.

Child Safe Standards

As a school within Catholic Education Sandhurst, we are committed to the implementation and application of the Victorian Child Safe Standards. This commitment is outlined in our Child Safety and Wellbeing policy which may be found on our St Mary's website under the Child Safe banner.

"The purpose of this Policy is to demonstrate the strong commitment of CES Ltd to the care, safety and wellbeing of all students. It provides an outline of the policies, procedures, actions and strategies that will be implemented to ensure that a child safe culture is championed and modelled at all levels of our schools, to keep students safe from harm, including all forms of abuse in the school environment, including on campus, online and in other locations provided by schools. This Policy takes into account relevant legislative requirements within the state of Victoria, including the specific requirements of the Child Safe Standards as set out in Ministerial Order No. 1359. This Policy applies to all CES Ltd staff and school staff, including school employees, volunteers, contractors and clergy."

Staff at St Mary's undertake annual training to maintain their commitment and understanding of procedures in place to ensure the safety of our students, staff and community, in regards to these standards.
