Year 5 Geography

Year 5 has been introduced to the factors that shape the diverse characteristics of different places and how people, places and environments are interconnected this term. They have been examining how human action influences the environmental characteristics of places and how these influence the human characteristics of places. Students have also examined how human decisions and actions influence the way spaces within places are organised and managed. For their task they have made a time capsule and researched the place where they have buried it.
