It's been a fortnight of tumbles, leaps, and laughter here at ACPS as we welcomed Alex from Melbourne Tumbling for a fantastic two-week gymnastics program!
Students from all grades had the opportunity to explore the exciting world of gymnastics in a safe and encouraging environment. Alex, a skilled and enthusiastic instructor, led the sessions with a contagious energy that had everyone wanting to learn and improve.
From mastering cartwheels and handstands to tackling the balance beam and the trampoline, our budding gymnasts gained new skills and built their confidence. The program not only focused on physical development but also emphasized teamwork, perseverance, and the joy of movement.
A big thank you to Alex for bringing his expertise and passion to ACPS! This program was a huge success, and we look forward to seeing many of our students continue their gymnastics journeys, whether in the gym or on the playground.
A fantastic effort from our ACPS athletes at the recent District Cross Country Championships held at Ruffey Lake Park! We were thrilled to see 50 students proudly represent our school, giving their all on the course.
The competition was fierce, but our runners demonstrated incredible determination and sportsmanship. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and dedication in training for this event.
A special shout out to the 11 students who have earnt themselves a place in the next round – the Division Championships! These athletes will be racing again on Tuesday, 4th June at Yarra Glen Racecourse. We wish them all the very best for the upcoming competition and will be cheering them on every step of the way!
