House colours Athletic Day
Please note this will now be held on Friday 5th of September. All students from prep to grade 6 participate in this day and come dressed in their house colours. If your child does not know if they are in Gemini or Saturn please check with their classroom teacher or at the office. More information about this day will be sent out soon.
R U OK Day
Next Thursday 11th September is R U OK day. This national day of action encourages Australians to reach out and have meaningful conversations with friends, family, and colleagues to check in on their mental health and wellbeing. We are encouraging students to come dressed in a touch of yellow and will focus on this in class during the day. We will also have a coffee Van onsite from 8:30 providing free coffees for parents and family members - encouraging you to stop and check in with each other while you enjoy your coffee.
Parent Opinion Survey Open (18th Aug -19th September)
Invitations with survey links and log in details for the Parent Opinion Survey were emailed to families via XUNO on Monday 18th August. We value your feedback and want to hear what you have to say about our lovely school. Last year we had 36 parents log on- hopefully we can have more again this year (currently 30)!
Raffle Ticket offer - Once again families who complete the survey will enter our raffle as a thank you. To enter, please screen shot or print the screen to show the office you have completed the survey. You will then receive a ticket in the draw to win a $200 RBN voucher. (Rochester Business Network)
2026 Student Numbers
It's that time of year when we begin working through 2026 planning, class structures, staffing and recruitment processes.
As we begin the planning process for 2026, we would appreciate parents notifying the school if your child/ren will not be returning to Rochester Primary School in 2026, as soon as possible.
