God's Love and Care for All

Our Lady's aspires to be a welcoming community unified by love, faith, hope and learning.

Term 3, Week 5

Dear Parents and Carers,

Our Year 4 students had an incredible experience at camp earlier this week! From Monday to Tuesday, they engaged in a variety of activities that fostered teamwork, resilience, and a sense of adventure. The students returned with great stories and memories that will last a lifetime. A big thank you to the teachers and staff who made this camp possible.

Book Week is just around the corner, and we’re excited to see our students’ creativity shine during our annual Dress-Up Day on Monday. Parents are welcome to attend our Book Week Parade on Monday morning. We encourage all students to come dressed as their favourite book characters. This is always a fun and engaging way to celebrate the joy of reading with our students.

We were delighted to see so many of our parents, students, and sponsors at our  Faith Family Night on Thursday evening. This special evening was held in preparation for the upcoming Confirmation on Sunday. It was great to witness the community coming together in faith and reflect on inspirational people in our lives who often serve as beacons of hope and guidance, encouraging us to become the best versions of ourselves. Students, parents and sponsors were given opportunities to share who their inspirational people are. In our Catholic tradition, we are blessed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit—wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. Having inspirational people in our lives who display these qualities enables us to navigate through life’s challenges with hope and strength.
