Junior Gymnastics
Over the past two weeks, our Prep to Grade 2 students have been having a blast in their gymnastics sessions! Each week, for an hour, our young gymnasts have been practicing key skills such as balancing, tumbling, and jumping.
We've seen fantastic progress as they master basic movements and build confidence. From creative balancing to enthusiastic tumbles, the sessions have been full of energy and fun. Our little gymnasts are not only improving their physical skills but also learning teamwork and perseverance.
Keep up the great work, everyone! We’re excited to see more amazing achievements in the next two weeks (week 6 – week 9).

CPS STEM News
In Prep, we have been learning about the different types of weather. We explored the different parts of the water cycle and investigated how it rains. We carried out the rain cloud in a jar experiment to see how many water droplets the cloud could hold before it started to rain.
In Year 1/2 , we have been learning about the properties of materials. We have investigated how we can change the shape of materials by bending, stretching and rolling the materials. We also explored which materials would be best to make a bracelet, cup and other everyday objects.
In Year 3/4 , we have been learning about the planets in our solar system and designing our own solar system mobile. We had to research and plan how we would create our mobile and carefully follow a set of instructions to create this educational resource.
In Year 5/6 , we have been learning about animal migration. We have been researching the different animals that migrate, why they migrate and where they migrate to. We will be mapping their migration routes on a map and creating a fun stop motion movie to share our knowledge of these migratory animals.
