CaSSSA Track & Field Championships
Congratulations to the 85 MTA students, staff, and student helpers that made the CaSSSA Track & Field Championships a success. On what can only be described as a once in a lifetime carnival experience – our athletes battled the cold and torrential rain to finish a solid fifth place overall.
We are hopeful in 2025 more of athletes will take advantage of the training provided three times a week by high level coaching staff to continue to improve our results. A special mention to the following students who finished in the top three of their division.

Regional Track & Field Championships
Congratulations to our 12 athletes (Georgia, Metben, Lily, Ella, Helen, Taylor, Kristina, Ayanna, Isla, Livvy, Caoimhe, Mia), that recently represented Mount Alvernia College at the Regional track and field championships on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 August. All athletes achieved exceptional results with the following students being selected to represent Metropolitan North at the upcoming State Championships being held in October at QSAC. Livvy, Georgia, Kristina, Helen, Metben, Mia and Taylor.
