Education in Faith
First Communion
Year 4 students are embarking on a significant part of their faith journey as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of First Communion. This Sacrament, a cornerstone of the Catholic faith, represents their first reception of the Eucharist, where they will receive the Body of Christ. It is a moment of deep spiritual significance, as the children take this important step in their relationship with God.
The preparation process involves learning about the meaning and importance of the Eucharist, understanding the Liturgy of the Mass, and growing in their personal prayer life. Through their lessons, prayers, and reflections, the children are not only gaining knowledge but are also opening their hearts to the grace of this holy Sacrament.
As a school and parish community, we are called to support and accompany them on this sacred journey. We encourage families, friends, and parishioners to keep these young people in their prayers as they prepare for this special day. The First Communion Mass will be a joyful celebration of their faith and a time for the entire community to come together in love and unity, sharing in the blessings of this holy occasion.
May God continue to bless them and guide them as they grow in their faith.
