Grade 3 News
Grade 3 has been busy these past few weeks with Book Week last week, and, in mid-August, we had a trip to the Melbourne Museum. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to visit a range of interesting exhibits. We spent time in the Indigenous Garden and also in our First Peoples exhibit, which helped our understanding for Inquiry. We were able to learn more about the Creation Story of the Wurundjeri People which is about Bunjil - a wedge-tailed eagle. We also learnt about all the different Indigenous Languages that are/were spoken throughout Victoria and we learnt how meaningful possum-skin cloaks are. It was a very interesting day!

Aged Care Visits with our Year 6 leaders
Year 6 leaders have been visiting a local aged care throughout term 3. The residents have loved the weekly visits, looking forward to the chats with our Year 6 students. The Year 6's have enjoyed learning all about their lives, especially what their childhood was like.
