Exploring St. Paul's Conversion Through Comics

This term, our Year 8 students have been delving into the fascinating life of St. Paul, focusing particularly on his profound conversion experience on the road to Damascus.  To bring this pivotal moment in Christian history to life, the students have channeled their creativity into creating comics that depict St. Paul's journey from a fervent persecutor of Christians to one of Christianity's most ardent apostles.  In class, the students have explored the significance of St. Paul's conversion, discussing how this event not only transformed his own life, but also shaped the early Christian Church.  Through their comics, students have illustrated key scenes from this dramatic encounter, capturing the intensity of the moment and the impact it had on Paul's mission.

We are incredibly proud of the thoughtful and artistic work the students have produced. We encourage you to ask your child about their comic and the insights they gained through this project.

Maths Games Day

At the Mathematics Association of Victoria (MAV) Games Day, nine Academy students used their problem solving skills to solve problems cohesively and independently used strategy to win various games.  Overall, it was an enjoyable and fun day spent working with one another to find solutions to situations and mathematical problems.

Congratulations to our Year 8 students Prytha Iong, Isabelle Naidoo, Josie Vergis, Monika Tudorovic and Zimin Zhang and also to our Year 7 students Amy Tran, Kim Trac, Chelsea Huynh and Chloe Li who all participated on the day.

A special mention to Prytha who baked a magnificent cake to share on the day and Isabelle who volunteered to assist another school who had one student absent.
