Spring Soiree
Students are busily rehearsing for our biggest Secondary ensembles concert of the year – the Spring Soiree! Held on the evening of Friday, 30 August, this musical extravaganza features Concert Band, Wind Band, Treble Choir, Chamber Choir, Senior Guitar Ensemble, Swing Band, Junior Swing Band and the annual performance of the Symphony Orchestra, alongside special guests in Chapel Choir and Wanju Voices! As a special tradition at Spring Soiree, the graduating class of musicians in Year 12 are honoured in a presentation, during the concert.
Tickets for Spring Soiree are free and available via TryBooking, and we ask families to book online to ensure adequate seating is available.
Secondary students performing in the Spring Soiree will be involved in soundchecks on Thursday, 29 August from 3:15 – 4:15pm and Friday, 30 August between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, with a schedule to be advertised via SEQTA. Secondary students remaining at school on Friday 30 August will be provided with a light dinner during the afternoon.
Please contact the Music Department with any queries.
