School Concert - Ms Stanton

Howdy all,

Before I share some more of the amazing work that our young performers at Trinity have been doing in preparation for the school concert, here is some information that you might find useful:

Tickets

Please book early so you don't miss out. We will initially limit tickets to 4 per family to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend. If you do require more tickets please contact the office directly.

Costumes

  • If you need assistance sourcing an item: please let your classroom teacher or Ms. Stanton know and we will put out a bulletin of needed items to the school community or personally source them.
  • Please take a peek at what the other class costumes are and look out for the costumes needed bulletin next week; if you have an item that you could lend for the performance, please drop it at the front office. Please remember to label your child’s name inside (with tape) so that it can easily be returned to you.

Final Rehearsal

  • We will have a final rehearsal at the Hawthorn Arts Centre during the school day on Monday, September 16th.
  • Permission slips will be available on the online portal.

We’re looking forward to sharing all of our hard work with you. Speaking of which, check out below for a behind the scenes look:

Our fantastic actors have been dedicating extra time to learning their lines, creating entertaining and hilarious characters, and rehearsing with their peers.

During performing arts sessions, students have been practicing their class dance, focusing on injecting energy into their movement and expression so that they can best show their characters and engage the audience. Here is 3/4VA performing for Prep AK.

Most recently during performing arts, students were recorded singing their song to provide background vocals for the sound design at the venue. Here are Prep AK and 1/2AS in the midst of their recording sessions.

Artists of all stripes have lent their talents to rounding out this production. Here are the concert backdrops designed by (starting from top): Charlotte J. and Nami (5/6), An and William Mat. (3/4), and Charlotte F. and Charlie (3/4).

And even the adults are getting in on the action!

Some Trinity adults helping us film some scenes for a short video to be played during the school concert.

We were so inspired by the amazing songs and dances from each class, the staff decided to start learning our dance!

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Hawthorn Arts Centre on September 16th!

Sincerely,

Ms. Stanton
