Student Learning -  5/6

Students in Year 5/6 have been learning about the major migrations that have shaped Australia. In collaborative groups, students have been researching these migrations, and then sharing their learnings with their peers. Major migrations that students have been studying include: Aboriginal population of Australia many thousands of years ago, the convicts of the First Fleet, post WW2 migrations of Greek and Italian communities, and the migration of Vietnamese people to Australia in the 60’s and 70’s. We have enjoyed finding out about the history of our country.
