Italian Day

Ciao a tutti a CNPS,

Time is nearing for our annual Italian Day festivities!

We are still in need of bocce sets. Could you kindly label and drop off at the school before Wednesday 23rd August.

On the day we will also be in need of  hand mixers or small stand mixers to whip the cream for our Tiramisu` making.

Mixing bowls will also be greatly appreciated. If you are happy for us to borrow, could you email me or drop off at the school office.

A reminder for students to dress in the Italian colours or their favourite Italian character.

Grazie mille

Isabella

Calling all bakers for “Wear It Purple Day”

On Friday 25 August, we will celebrate Wear It Purple Day, which strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.

We are calling all bakers to make cupcakes and other small baked goods, decorated with a purple theme. Baked goods will be sold during the day (and at assembly if there are left overs) with proceeds going to a charity, Minus18. Please mark all baked goods with ingredients. We are seeking gluten-free baked goods too!

If you are planning to donate baked goods (or even honey joys in a purple wrapper), please let us know as soon as possible or put your name down in our bakers’ volunteer sheet.

Please bring all baked goods to the office before drop off on Friday 25 August.

Thanks!

Come and meet Jean and try out choir.

Book Parade

Hi all,

Our wonderful annual book parade will now take place on Wednesday, the 30th of August, from 9.15am. Students and staff are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character (or easiest book character ;) ) for this event. Book week is actually the week before but, as our school calendar is chock a block, we needed to push it out a week. It won't matter to the students, they'll have a great time regardless. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Event Payments and Curriculum Contributions

Events

Payment for events that have already taken place this year need to be made as soon as possible please.  If you have difficulty with Compass and are unsure which events are outstanding, please call or see Gaby in the office. Payment can also be made over the counter or by phone.  Should payment be difficult financially, please see Trish in the office to work out a payment plan.

Curriculum Contributions

Every year our school purchases stationery and other curriculum consumables on behalf of students, as we can access a good discount for this.  However, unless these items are paid for by families, the school is significantly out of pocket. Thank you to all families who have paid to date.  We understand that not all families are able to pay, and this charge is voluntary, however if you are able to make payment, we would really appreciate it.The cost for each year level is:

Foundation        $135.00

Year 1/2              $114.00

Year 3/4              $146.00

Year 5/6              $135.00

Payment can be made via Compass under Course Confirmations, over the phone or at the office.

Thank you for your understanding.
