District Athletics

Congratulations to the 51 students who competed in District Athletics on Thursday. It was so great to see our students compete and try their hardest. It was also fantastic to see so many students compete in new events or events that made them a bit nervous. We are so proud of everyone's effort.

A special mention to Charlie P who ran the 1500m. Charlie was sprinting along the straight thinking it was his last lap. He was exerting all his energy only to realise he still had another lap to go. 

Charlie maintained his position for another 400m and literally emptied the tank in the last 50m to come 2nd. It was incredible to watch Charlie maintain his speed after working so hard. Well done!
