Numeracy

Year 3 have been busy learning about money and how to calculate change in Numeracy! 3E are proudly sharing their hard work in the classroom. They have been using addition to find the difference between the amount owed and the notes used to purchase something,

working out on a number line. Students have also had the opportunity to work with the class money set.

Meanwhile in 3C, students have been exhibiting incredible teamwork and social skills, creating a giant pattern block display. Witnessing the class work together in larger groups, delegate tasks and problem solve has been a real inspiration.

Students are getting really excited about Book Week next week - it is time to start hunting for your favourite book character for the parade - the more creative, innovative and sustainable, the better!
