Weaving
Year 1 created a textile piece using a variety of materials – textured paper, ribbon, felt, fabric and mesh.
Collage
Year 2 used crayon and rubbing plates to create interesting patterns on paper and then added a water colour overlay.
Sewing
Years 3 and 4 have been learning how to sew. We focused on learning three stitches: running stitch, back stitch, and cross stitch. Students then practised these techniques, creating an abstract hessian tapestry.
Printing
Year 5 and 6 have been learning about positive and negative space. It was their first time to create foam prints and they were very excited to explore this new printing technique. Students were able to choose their own themes and subject for their work.
