M27 certainly got into the spirit of book week.

We have just finished our Information Reports – based on countries from Africa and South America (tying into our Geography Unit).  We proudly published exciting information ready to inform and teach others about specific countries – focusing on food, animals, fun facts, sports, famous people, landmarks, celebrations, and regions. 

Inquiry

Our focus this term has been the history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Students examined European exploration and colonization in Australia and throughout the world up to the early 1800s.  We studied the First Fleet and even made 11 ships.
