Student Achievements

Aoife, 3A & Meg, 5B

On Sunday 3rd September (Father's Day), Aoife of 3A and Meg of 5B competed in the Metro South Regional Championships with their Level 4 Over 8s team at Waverley Gymnastics. The girls performed well in Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor, placing 1st overall against some strong competition.

This means that Meg and Aoife will be moving on with their team to compete at state level, representing Waverley Gymnastics and the Metro South region. Good luck to the girls and their team!

Peter, 1B

On Sunday 03/09/2023 Peter competed in the NSW Grappling Industries Brazilian Jujitsu Tournament which was held in Sydney.

It was an exciting tournament for Peter where he won the following titles.

NSW U65 GI Champion
NSW U65 NO GI Champion

Pasha, 3B

Pasha achieved Distinction in the Australia Mathematics Competition, which places him in the top 20% nationwide. Congratulations Pasha!

Albert, 5A

Albert in 5A has been very busy. Last term he became a Mensa member by passing the Mensa onsite test. He also achieved the following:

Prize winner in AMC intermediate division (Year 9)
Credit achievement in Big Science Competition(Year 10)
Credit in Australian Geography Competition (Year 10)
