Sport & PE Update 

District Athletics

On Thursday the 24 th of August, all of year 6, some year 5’s and some year 4’s competed at district athletics at Little Athletics Track in Burwood East. Most people were there for the entirety of the day, while some people arrived later in the day to do shuttle relay and tunnel ball.

Everyone that had a different sport other then shuttle relay or Tunnel ball had to be at Mr. Kals room at 8:45 to do the roll and then at 9:00 we all left to get on the bus out to the track. This year we were all determined to dominate Wheelers Hill since this was the last year, we were playing against them.

And we dominated! We beat Wheeler’s hill PS 236 points to 263 points. We beat them in High jump, shotput, discus, sprints, relays, and much, much more. Overall, it was a great day that everyone enjoyed, with some people going to the division level. We’d also like to thank Mr. Zach for putting all the effort in the make sure the day could run smoothly for us.
