Cafe News

We had a very busy Cafe on Friday. Although the weather was cold and bleak outside, it was warm and lively with conversation and laughter inside the Cafe. The Cafe was filled with community members from Lifestyle Bittern and many parents and grandparents from our school community.  

It was an exciting day for the Cafe team because it was the first time the mushrooms from the year 5 and 6 projects were harvested and used as ingredients in the recipes. The mushrooms were used in a deliciously creamy mushroom and broccoli sauce which was mixed through pasta. For dessert we had fluffy pancakes with tangy berry coulis and vanilla ice cream.

Our next Cafe will relate to Father’s Day so look out for further information.
