Year 6 Literacy

This week the Year 6 students participated in a poetry project inspired by Pink T-Shirt Day. Pink T-shirt day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness. The students were learning to understand the feelings and experiences of bullying from the perspective of the bully, the bystander and the bullied. Their expressions were then transformed into poetry using a poetry template and published onto t-shirt designs. These t-shirts now create a vibrant display in the Year 6 area, symbolising our school's dedication to inclusivity.
